Daily soda consumption may increase prostate cancer risk
Drinking one normal-sized soft drink a day raised men's odds of developing a more aggressive form of prostate cancer by about 40%, Swedish researchers found. They also said that a diet rich in carbohydrates was linked to a 31% greater risk of having milder forms of prostate cancer. The findings appear in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.
