Chance of sudden cardiac death rises with prediabetes
An analysis of data on 2,641 middle-aged men found sudden cardiac death was 1.51 times as likely for those with prediabetes than those with normal glucose levels. For men with type 2 diabetes, the risk was 2.86 times greater. The results appear in Diabetes Care.
