Paternal obesity may raise child's odds of cancer later in life
Babies born to obese fathers had reduced DNA methylation of insulin-like growth factor 2, indicating a greater risk of developing cancer later in life, according to a study in the journal BMC Medicine. The same did not hold true in babies with obese mothers, researchers said.
