Obama calls for televised bipartisan meeting on health care

President Barack Obama said he will invite Republicans and Democrats from the House and Senate to meet Feb. 25 to talk about how to pass an overhaul of the nation's health care system. Obama said he would like lawmakers from both parties to "go through, systematically, all the best ideas that are out there and move it forward." Obama wants live TV coverage of the meeting, said an unnamed White House official.
