Toddlers show physical effects of too much fat

Pediatric and nutrition experts say more toddlers are too heavy and show signs of metabolic syndrome, which can lead to diabetes, heart disease and stroke. Overweight children first become insulin-resistant and can develop gallstones and nonalcoholic steatohepatitis from eating too much fat, as well as sleep apnea, joint pain and asthma.
