House's debt-ceiling measure could push debate to summer
Treasury Department officials reportedly say that if the Senate passes a House measure suspending the debt ceiling until May 19, the U.S. would have money to keep operating through July using "extraordinary measures." That would push the next deadline for raising the borrowing limit to August.
