Regency Centers' bread and butter comes from grocery stores. A real estate investment trust (REIT), the firm owns, manages, and develops neighborhood shopping centers in nearly 30 states and Washington, DC, many of them anchored by a Publix, Kroger, Safeway, or SUPERVALU supermarket.
