Report finds social media relationships boost buying
Some 70% of social media users who interacted with brands ended up making a purchase as a result, and 61% say they consider the brands they're connected to first when looking to buy, according to a study from SocialVibe. The study also found that 37% of consumers who connect with brands via social media end up severing those connections, with one-third saying they were getting too many updates.
