Ineos Nova temporarily shuts down Texas styrene plant

Ineos Nova has temporarily closed its styrene monomer plant in Texas until margin levels improve, according to a source familiar with the facility, which has a capacity of 530,000 metric tons a year. The company hopes to resume operations at the plant in the first quarter of 2010, the source said.
