Louisiana ponders effects of Obama's likely energy policies

Louisiana officials speculating about the potential effect of President-elect Barack Obama's expected energy policies on their economy expressed optimism that the new president will be moderate when considering offshore drilling. Natural gas may gain wider use in Obama's presidency, said spokesmen for the Independent Petroleum Association of America and the Natural Gas Supply Association.
