New alliance promotes natural gas in policy discussions

America's Natural Gas Alliance, a coalition of independent natural gas exploration and production companies, is promoting the use of the resource in new markets and angling to make its voice heard in national policy discussions. "Natural gas has an important story to tell," said CEO Rod Lowman, who formerly headed the American Chemistry Council and the American Plastics Council. "It is [an] abundant, clean American resource that can help end our dependence on foreign energy."
