Survey: Demand for green schools could rise in 3 years
Demand for sustainable school buildings is expected to increase during the next three years, according to a survey by McGraw-Hill Construction. More than 100 contractors were surveyed, most with a record of green school projects, and there was increased optimism that upcoming projects will be green. A separate survey on K-12 respondents found that 93% said lower energy use has led them to build green schools, while 89% cited health and well-being as a motivation.
