Test could predict treatment response in multiple myeloma
Researchers have developed a test that uses a fluorescent stem cell imaging dye to detect multiple myeloma cells that express the ABCB1 gene, which is associated with resistance to treatment. Researchers now will examine whether the test can be used to predict outcomes and support clinical decision-making.
