Covidien finalizes acquisition of Somanetics for $250M
Covidien said it closed on its purchase of Somanetics, which makes and markets noninvasive medical diagnostic and monitoring devices, for $250 million. Covidien's announcement comes weeks after it finalized its acquisition of ev3, a maker of devices used for treating peripheral vascular and neurovascular diseases, for $2.6 billion.
