Nevada's gaming revenue in September rose 3% to $893 million compared with revenue in the same period last year. Meanwhile, casinos on the Las Vegas Strip took in $497 million during the month -- a 1.2% rise on a year-over-year basis. Tax collections on September winnings increased 38% to $71 million from last year.
