The chairman of Cordish Cos., the developer and operator of the Maryland Live! Casino in Anne Arundel County, Md., announced that the gaming facility looks to hire an additional 1,200 workers as part of a plan to replace some of its 4,750 slot machines with 150 table games. David Cordish also said he is considering a plan to add a hotel and a convention space next to the casino. "You asked are we thinking about it. The answer is absolutely, but I don't have it definite yet," he said of the planned hotel.
