Las Vegas Sands CEO: Conventions are coming back to the Strip
Las Vegas Sands Corp. CEO Sheldon Adelson said convention traffic is on the rebound for the company's Las Vegas casinos. "Today we have more group room nights on the books for 2010 than we expect to realize in all of calendar 2009," Adelson said. The industries booking conventions for 2010 include technology, pharmaceutical, fast food and consumer, according to Adelson.
