Contractors see weaker profits in 2009 as building demand shrinks
The construction industry will continue to feel pressure from the weakening U.S. economy in 2009, according to economic forecasts. A recent survey of contractors in western Michigan found 61% of respondents expect their profits to fall in 2009.
