Council celebrates first World Green Building Day

Construction industry leaders will meet today in Toronto to discuss green building in what is one of a series of global events that will mark the first World Green Building Day. The World Green Building Council created World Green Building Day to promote sustainable building and ensure that green construction remains a priority. Supporters of green building will also meet in Washington, D.C., and a new network for green building councils will be launched in Australia.
