Cracks in ramps at Yankee Stadium raise concerns
Large cracks in the concrete pedestrian ramps at New York's Yankee Stadium are not affecting the structural integrity of the ramps, according to New York City Buildings Department engineers. The Yankees, however, have hired an engineering firm to take samples from the ramps -- made from a concrete mix designed and tested by a company under indictment, accused of not conducting some tests and falsifying results of others -- to determine the extent of the problem.
