Construction will decline by 14% in 2009, consulting firm says
A forecast by a construction management consulting and investment banking firm predicted that total construction would decline by 14% in 2009 and by 5% in 2010. The report by FMI noted that the construction industry has yet to feel improvements experienced by the overall economy. It also predicted that nonresidential construction would decline by 13% in 2009 and by 16% in 2010.
