Hybrid construction equipment hits the market
Construction equipment manufacturers are working to develop hybrid versions of their vehicles. Caterpillar, for example, recently said it will start production of a hybrid bulldozer later this year. Meanwhile, Volvo has already started selling a hybrid wheel loader, and Komatsu's PC200-8 hybrid hydraulic excavator is also on the market.
