Orlando mayor proposes linking SunRail to high-speed trains

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer has proposed a plan to link Central Florida's SunRail to high-speed trains serving the rest of the state. The legislature has twice voted against the SunRail commuter train, but Dyer hopes to sway the vote in favor of the $1.2 billion project. Florida has applied for stimulus funds for a high-speed train from Orlando to Tampa.
