Legislation allows New Jersey colleges to partner with developers
New Jersey state colleges may partner with developers on new construction projects under legislation signed by Gov. Jon Corzine this week. The law allows the colleges to bypass complicated bidding procedures. Officials say the legislation will help ease a housing shortage at state schools as well as create jobs.
