Review examines medical home model outcomes
An analysis in the Annals of Internal Medicine revealed that using a patient-centered medical home practice model had a small positive impact on patient experiences, small to moderate positive effects on preventive care services, and small to moderate improvements in staff experience. However, it is still unclear how the model affects clinical outcomes and costs, researchers said.
