Naltrexone may curb weight gain associated with smoking cessation
Women who used naltrexone had lower weight gain at six and 12 months following smoking cessation than those who took a placebo, according to a study in Biological Psychiatry. However, researchers did not note a similar effect in men who stopped smoking.
