Casino company Wild Rose Entertainment, the same group that considered a casino project in Urbandale, Iowa, last month, is looking to build a $150 million casino complex in Ankeny, Iowa. Plans for the facility include a 50,000-square-foot casino, a 200-room hotel and an event center. "It's no secret we've been looking to do a casino in central Iowa for a long time," said Tom Timmons, vice president of Wild Rose.
