TSA awards $22M contract for portable liquid scanners
The TSA has awarded New Jersey-based Smiths Detection with a $22 million contract to supply hand-held systems for scanning liquids. The portable spectroscopy devices can be used to screen large bottles of liquid at airport checkpoints.
