India eyes $1.7B Globemaster purchase
India hopes to buy 10 Boeing C-17 transport aircraft in a deal valued at some $1.7 billion, according to the country's Defense Ministry. U.S. and Indian air forces recently flew joint exercises with the Globemaster, and sources say the contract could be finalized in early 2010.
