South Carolina wins contest for Boeing 787 assembly line
Boeing officials announced Wednesday that North Charleston, S.C., will become home to a second assembly line for the 787 Dreamliner -- the company's first such facility for commercial aircraft outside Washington state. Boeing said the new facility will help it meet production goals for the much-delayed 787.
