White House tackles trade-secret theft as chemical firms are targeted
The White House says the government is implementing procedures to stop China, Russia, India and other countries from stealing billions of dollars' worth of trade secrets from U.S. businesses. The victimized U.S. firms include DuPont and Dow Chemical. Countries that attempt theft of intellectual property will be placed on a watch list, which will be used to coordinate efforts to stop them from succeeding.
