EPA grants to aid greener chemistry in N.J.
The Environmental Protection Agency has issued a grant for $99,200 to the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission to educate restaurants in the region on proper chemicals use, optimized energy consumption other cost-saving measures. A $48,727 grant was awarded to Beyond Benign for a workshop to train faculty members from college chemistry departments in New Jersey and New York on green chemistry practices.
