Scientists develop carbon-reduction technique using water-based reaction
U.S. researches have developed a water-soluble catalyst that can process carbon dioxide and turn it electrocatalytically into a chemical feedstock. "It would be even more interesting to develop a [similar] catalyst to further reduce carbon dioxide to carbon monoxide or even hydrocarbons," said Wenzhen Li, a chemical expert at Michigan Technological University.
