CDC study examines HIV cases in children, young adults
More than a quarter of all new HIV cases in the U.S. in 2010 involved 13- to 24-year-olds, and 60% of these young people didn't even know they were infected, CDC researchers said. They noted that only a small percentage of high-school students and young adults have ever been tested for HIV.
