Fentanyl spray effective for breakthrough cancer pain, study says
Nurse researchers at Loma Linda University Medical Center in California found that fentanyl sublingual spray effectively treats breakthrough pain in cancer patients. The study presented at the Oncology Nursing Society's annual meeting found 88.5% of patients were satisfied with the treatment.
