Obama downplays concerns surrounding ACA's implementation
President Barack Obama indicated he does not think a rough implementation of the Affordable Care Act is a huge potential concern, saying the law was "working fine." Implementation is a potential issue for only "10 to 15 percent of Americans -- now, it's still 30 million Americans, but a relatively narrow group -- who don't have health insurance right now, or are on the individual market and are paying exorbitant amounts for coverage that isn't that great," Obama said at a news conference Tuesday. Meanwhile, an HHS deadline for health insurers to file applications to participate in federal exchanges has been postponed three days to Friday.
