Study: Alcohol, obesity linked to breast cancer recurrence

Researchers found even moderate alcohol consumption may increase the risk of breast cancer recurrence by 34% among women. A separate study showed breast cancer patients with a higher-than-normal BMI had a higher risk of death than thinner patients, and their cancers were more likely to be detected later.
