Diabetes raises odds of invasive erectile dysfunction treatment Men with diabetes were 50% more likely to undergo second-stage invasive treatment for erectile dysfunction and more than twice as likely to have third-stage therapy for ED than those without diabetes, a study found. The findings presented at the annual meeting of American Urological Association suggest that erectile dysfunction in men with diabetes is less likely to respond to oral drugs, progresses faster or both, a researcher said.
