Smoking cessation is key against COPD, new guidelines say

The American College of Physicians and three other health associations issued new guidelines for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, saying smoking cessation is still key against the condition. The groups also advised the use of spirometry for diagnosis of the disease among symptomatic patients.
