Kansas Aviation Museum to honor The Ninety-Nines
The Kansas Aviation Museum will recognize The Ninety-Nines, an international association of women pilots, at its annual gala. Amelia Earhart served as the first president of The Ninety-Nines, named for its initial membership count of 99 women pilots. The museum will honor the Kansas Chapter of The Ninety-Nines as the national organization celebrates its 80th anniversary.
