General aviation deliveries decline 47% in first 9 months
General-aviation aircraft deliveries tumbled by as much as 47% in the first nine months of the year, compared with the same period a year ago, according to the General Aviation Manufacturers Association. The biggest decline in aviation deliveries was seen in piston aircraft, which fell 59%.
