Thanksgiving travel estimates at LAX about same as last year
Based on projections from California's LAX airport, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving will not be the busiest travel day of the holiday period -- Sunday will be the most active. The airport estimates that almost 1.8 million travelers will pass through the airport, similar to the number of fliers last year.
