Weak prices, revenue drive down Chesapeake's Q3 profit by 94%

Quarterly earnings for Chesapeake Energy plunged 94% on lower commodity prices and falling revenue. The company, which produces natural gas, earned $192 million in the third quarter compared with $3.32 billion during the same period last year.
