API names Martin J. Durbin executive VP of government affairs
The American Petroleum Institute has appointed Martin J. Durbin, vice president of federal affairs at the American Chemistry Council, as its executive vice president of government affairs. Durbin brings "a wealth of legislative experience and a deep understanding of the issues that affect America's energy, economic and environmental security," API President Jack Gerard said.
