Chevron's ties with Venezuela strictly "business-to-business," exec says

The leader of exploration and production for Chevron in Latin America and Africa said his company's relationship with Venezuela is strictly business, steering clear of politics as the company seeks oil-drilling investments there. Ali Moshiri's comments came in response to political concerns usually associated with Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez. As long as the U.S. has diplomatic ties with Chavez's government, then Chevron's business prospects in Venezuela remain positive, Moshiri added.
