Video content is a slam dunk for Portland Trail Blazers app
The Portland Trail Blazers were late to the mobile-application game because of initial NBA inflexibility, writes Frederic Lardinois. But the new app designed under the team's senior director of interactive media, Dan Harbison, has used video content well. "Currently, fans spend a whopping 26 minutes per visit with the app -- an engagement time that's largely driven by this video content and fans using the app as a second screen to follow along with stats during games," writes Lardinois.
