Literacy programs teach students to think like journalists
The transition to the Common Core State Standards has put news literacy programs in high demand as schools nationwide seek ways to help students hone their critical-thinking and analytical skills. The program partners with journalists who visit classrooms to help students develop a healthy skepticism about what they read.
