Ruling: Schools may be liable for students even after the bell rings
Even after students are dismissed from class, schools may still be responsible for them, the New Jersey Supreme Court ruled. The family of an elementary-school student paralyzed in a car crash after classes let out early may sue the school, the court ruled.
