Mixing exercise and play, school hopes to promote student fitness
A Mississippi school district hopes an outdoor play area will make fitness education more appealing and enjoyable for students. The area at Gautier Elementary School is designed to promote cardiovascular fitness and encourage strength training. Teacher-led activities will include step aerobics and workout lessons.
