Counselors work to keep freshmen in college

Regular check-ins, care packages and advice on studying and finances by a Boston nonprofit's counselors aim to help low-income teens stay in college. "They are like your parents," said Roberto Green, 19, a University of Massachusetts freshman in the program. "They are always on top of you. Calling you to make sure you do what you should do."
